Sausalito

Start early in the morning, preferably on a sunny day. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and take the first exit.  Cruise your way down along the bay shore into one of the favorite tourist spots in Marin, Sausalito’s waterfront, keeping to the right along the San Francisco Bay.  There are a couple of nice coffee shops to sample the local lattes. Then just stay on Bridgeway north to 101.  To see some sample housing here, head up the hill to the left on Spencer then wind your way back down, taking Santa Rosa to Glen to Filbert.  (Have a good map along if you attempt this.) Or if you like town living, take a left off Sausalito onto Caledonia, and have a look around there.  Sausalito is a great place to live!
